During my life and career, I heard the following statement many times, "First impressions are everything." What you wear to a job interview, office party or business meeting can have a lasting impact on how you are viewed by others. As a business professional, you should use every opportunity to project a positive way. You never know when you'll come across someone in a position to further his career.
As we enter the new year, which is a great time to take inventory of your current wardrobe. Dressing for success is to make sure they wear appropriate clothing for interviews, work and in your everyday life. What we wear often gives the impression of what you think about yourself. Your wardrobe should reflect where you are, but where do you see yourself going. If you want to be a manager, take note of what successful managers wear. (Older women used to always tell me that you never want to be caught up with the holes in the undergarments of you that are in the hospital for emergencies. How annoying !)
